Welcome to Ponderosa Pomskies. We have a furry new family member just for you!
Our family discovered the adorable, exclusive world of designer-bred Pomskies a few years ago. Since then, we have adopted a few, and fallen in love. After introducing our babies to family and close friends, we decided to take our experience in breeding and apply it to this magical breed of pups.
All of the dogs and puppies you will see on this website, we care for and love as our personal pets. Their health and happiness is of utmost importance to us. We all live together on our 12+ acre Ponderosa just outside of the DFW, Texas Metroplex.
We are NOT a puppy mill and we are NOT a pet store. We put quality, love, and care over quantity, ALWAYS.
All of our pets are fed a high quality diet that includes raw food at different stages, as well as vitamins and NuVet supplements. Their socialization and training begins here with us. They receive exceptional healthcare from a licensed veterinarian, as well as genetic testing to rule out over 170+ conditions and diseases. Please see our health guarantee for more information.
All of our dogs are registered with the Continental Kennel Club, therefore, we register all litters with the CKC as well. We are also members of the International Pomsky Association, the Pomsky Owners Association, and the American Pomsky Kennel Club.
If you would like to be added to our waitlist, please fill out our Waitlist Application. The waitlist is first come, first serve and a deposit of $400 is required to ensure priority pick of any individual litter. Deposits (and any payments made) are non-refundable and will be taken out of the final adoption fee for your puppy. If you decide that you do not want a puppy from our current litter, your deposit is transferable to subsequent litters. Deposits EXPIRE after 12 months. You must pick a puppy within 12 months of placing your deposit or your deposit with be forfeited.
***Our puppies are priced as PETS for $2500 - $3800 based on coat color, length, markings, gender, and eye color. Mini Pomskies tend to run a little higher, as do puppies with breeding rights, and puppies that carry rare colors genetically, like blue dilute and lavender.
We accept payments via Apple Pay, Cash App, or Zelle.
Apple Pay: This is done by text message between iPhone users via Apple Cash or Debit Card in your Apple Wallet. Payments are sent and received at no cost to the Buyer or Seller.
Zelle/Cash App: Money can be requested or sent via the Zelle App, or your Zelle account that exists inside your banking app to our phone number or email address at no cost to the Buyer or Seller. Cash App is an app like Zelle where money can be sent and received at no charge to the Buyer or Seller.

Deposit, Pricing, and Payment Info
Adoption Process including Pick Up and Flight Info
About 10-14 days before puppies are due, the veterinarian will determine how many puppies are in each litter and make sure Mama is still doing well. When puppies are born, all families on deposit will get photos and a male/female description. You are able to choose and reserve your puppy at any time based on your spot on the waitlist. Most people wait until around 5 weeks of age to choose their puppy, especially if they're going to be coming out to meet the puppies first. If you're local to the area or want to make the trip, you're welcome to meet the puppies any time after Week 4. You will be required to choose your puppy when it is your turn, within 24 hours.
Pick up dates are to be scheduled in advance, preferably by 6 weeks of age, as we have people coming from all over to pick up. Once you choose your puppy, our contract will be sent to you with price, pick up date, health guarantee, etc. for you to sign.
I no longer ship puppies in Pet Cargo with any airline as it is not beneficial for our puppies to fly alone. We have many clients that choose to hire flight nannies from one of our recommendations or on their own. We use several ourselves regularly that we trust our pets with, so we are happy to assist in getting your puppy to you via this route. Cost usually runs approx. $675. If you coordinate your own flight nanny, we charge $75 to deliver your puppy to the airport.
We do also have many clients that drive or fly in to pick up puppies if not local to DFW. We're glad to meet at the airport (free of charge) for you to pick up your puppy, we will just need to coordinate the best day and time for all. All major airlines are still allowing pets in cabin with their owners. They require their own ticket one way for approximately $125. I'm happy to assist you in purchasing the best carrier for travel and advise you on the paperwork you'll need for the flight.
